fear and discouragement

When God gives me a job to do,I often fight two enemies: fear and discouragement. I'm afraid to try because I might fail. When I do try, I get discouraged because I might fail. when I do try,I get discouraged because the job is harder or takes longer than I think it should .

God's answer to fear and discouragement is the assurance of his never -failing presence . God said to joshua:

have I not commanded you?

be strong and courageous do not be afraid do not be discourage for the Lord your God will with you wherever you go
